For a spilt 15-20 seconds maybe!
It's one of those carwashes where they clean your car quickly before you drive in the automatic car wash, & once you get out - the workers will dry your car..
... well, as we were driving in the automatic car wash! I was telling my boyfriend, the machine was sort of louder than usual. Then the entire machine STOPPED WORKING completely!
I was freaking out, because I don't like being in a situation where I'm trapped inside or being able to exit/escape quickly.
Luckily, the machine turned back on shortly after. Not sure what happened, but I'm glad we weren't trapped.
Have you ever been trapped anywhere?

@HazySue I don't like elevators. Most of the time I would try to take an alternative way and only use the elevator if I have to.

@infatuatedbby I don't like elevators anyway, that just confirmed the feeling for me.

I was trapped in an elevator for an hour by myself last year at work during a power failure. Our building is an old historic building, and so the elevator is really old. The fire department came out to try and open the doors to get me out, but the emergency release mechanism wasn't working. After trying everything, the finally gave up and decided to chop down the metal door with their axes. Fortunately, as they were getting their axes out of the fire truck, the power came back on and the doors opened!

Oh hell no =(
I would be traumatized and would never ride in an elevator anymore. So did the firefighters have to use the axe? No right?
Do you have any fear til' this day?

@moffittjc Ha! I'm still innocent.
You were so calm :)
I would be but I guess you're getting paid while being stuck so why not eh? :)

@infatuatedbby OMG...this is the first time I ever seen you cuss! My image of a sweet innocent girl has been shattered! lol
The firefighters did not have to use the axes to get me out, as once the power came back on and the doors opened before they had to use their axes.
I wasn't afraid or scared or traumatized in any way. Because there was no power at all (not even emergency lighting) inside the elevator, it was pitch black in there. I just sat down on the floor of the elevator and tried to play on my phone, but I had no service inside the elevator, so I just ended up taking a little power nap! It was all good, and it was a nice little break from work anyway.

We don't go to carwashes often =)
I prefer to hand wash. But it's not that fun, I don't think!

That would be scary. I was locked in this small storage room at work one time. It is small and closed in and the door locked behind me from the outside when I went in. I was in a panic. I was banging on the door and screaming. Finally after about a half hour somebody heard me and come and opened the door. I was some glad to finally get out of there.

Oh my gosh! I would be panicking and at that time did you have a phone on you? Probably not but now a days I think we all keep our phones handy =) But I'd be scared if there was no service. I'm glad someone helped you out!

I got trapped once in an elevator. The event lasted for two or three minutes only. Everyone inside the elevator got scared

No I didn't since we moved shortly after. But if it had been longer, I would.

@infatuatedbby Here it's for safety reason, you are obliged to get out.

@LadyDuck That would make a lot of sense! Some places do tell you to get out but most its a self service thing

Um I don't remember being trapped anywhere. Unless it was when I was being teased as a child and they hold the door shut while turning the lights off in the basement.
