Planning To Sew A Curtain

Hello Guys! How was your day? It´s Thursday evening in the Philippines. I have just login half an hour ago. Just finished my notification. Now I have to write something before dinner. I am sure this is the only discussion I can make for today. I went with my father and cousin in the city to buy a new eletric fan for him and cloth for me. While my cousin was paying her quarterly PhilHealth insurance. I bought 10 meters cloth for making curtains in my house. Actually I was only planning to buy cloth for the small curtains that will go with our long white curtains but I changed my mind and bought plenty. I can do more than curtains with this cloth that I have bought. I find it so boring just having white curtains in the living room. I want something with color that makes the room cosy. I will be sewing soon. Its been a few years since I have last sewn something for the house. Anyway, do you sew your own curtain? I will still make a design and it should be simple but beautiful. Thats the photo above. Thanks for reading and I hope you are all in good condition.

There is not photo but yes I always make my own curtains because I can never find the ones I want. It is really quite simple and I enjoy it. It is much cheaper then buying curtains.

No, haven't done such. If only I could sew, I would love to make my own clothes.

Is that the cloth for the curtain ? That''s pretty . So nice color combination and this color is refreshing and will make the room appear spacious . Yes, for the past years i just buy those lace curtains since the weather here is always hot , and sew them myself . It's just so easy . But this December , i plan to buy those ready made ones from the Korean mall who sells cheap things . It may be a bit expensive , but at least i won't tire myself sewing anymore and just spend the holidays resting .

I hope you will show us what your curtains look like when they are done. It has been years since I have sewn too.

I always sew my own curtains ever since I bought this electric sewing machine years ago. Good luck on your sewing plan.

No we had all our curtains custom made ten years ago when we bought the house. In the past I made some for our apartment in Monte-Carlo.

You are very handy. The last time I made curtains was when we were first married. We have all our draperies custommade. Want to make some for our new family room? Your fabric is very pretty.
