I attended my welfare signing on session, which was confusing as most of the staff were holding a meeting and the furniture had been rearranged so my case-worker didn’t see me at first, but she did deal with me quickly once she spotted me. My next appointment is in one week rather than in a fortnight for some unexplained reason. From there I rushed to the job club for another dull course, this time in positive thinking for employment options. We were told that while some people think in words, other prefer pictures so we had to both write about and draw our job expectations. I felt like I was back at kindergarten. I have secured a chance to give a talk on Preston’s pub signs on November 18th. I discovered with some horror that I have actually lost my coach ticket for my trip to Manchester on Saturday. I have no option but to buy another one, an expense I could well do without just now. Arthur Chappell
