Do you shave your legs? I was just doing the daily poll on Swagbucks and it seems that there is a new trend for men, shaving their legs, WHAT!!!! I have all on shaving my face let alone starting to shave my legs too, NO way!! will I be doing that. Do you, does your partner, do you know any man who does shave their legs? In the Poll on Swagbucks, there are 17% of men said they shave their legs. I personally can’t see that trend catching on, men shaving their legs, what will be next? The photo is one I’ve just taken, of my leg, hairy legs, not shaven lol.

It might make sense if I was a competitive swimmer. Or cyclist. But I'm not. So I don't.

I saw that poll, and boy does that sound crazy. I don't know a single guy who does that. I've seen swimmers in the Olympics do that, and male models, but it still seems odd.

I think I would run a mile if a potential suitor mentioned he did this unless he was an athlete. I think runners do this.

@Jackalyn I remember them saying in the Olympics that the swimmers "shaved down".

@kevin1877uk May be, I know that some sport men shave their legs for a sort of "aerodynamic effect", but I think it's ridiculous to think that this can make a difference.

Well, I'm naturally hairy so I shave my legs (but I'm a girl so that's different, apparently). I shave them anyway, but more often now because my other half likes them smooth (and when he's willing to give me leg massages, I'm not going to complain about having to shave them!) I'll tell him he should shave his legs if I have to shave mine, but he says it's different for men. The only difference I see is a cultural/traditional one. He shaves his under arms and his down below bits in the summer. But that's only because he gets really sweaty and has eczema so it makes sense to do that. If it wasn't for that discomfort, I don't think he'd shave anywhere.

It can be understading if a woman shaves her legs. As to men, I don't think it is necessary. Men with hairy legs are sexy

Shaving my legs would take hours. And the same again the next day.

I think some of the body builders do but I don`t know any man that does. I do but I am a woman and I would have ugly hairy legs and be called names like " hey Cave woman."

Sometimes I shave my legs and sometimes I don't. It depends on how I feel when I am in the shower, if I have a razor or not, or if I have enough shaving cream or not. My boyfriend does not shave his legs.

I've never met a man who shaved his legs. That would seem a bit odd. Though there are a few who have taken to shaving other bits. I think David Beckham started the craze off but as far as I know even he isn't shaving his legs yet.

I know that a few sportsmen are doing it, like cyclists and swimmers, and I am not sure that it increases really their performances, but 17%? I have never considered to shave my legs, arms, or my not hairy at all chest.
