Family Time Was Great

Well we dropped off my family at the bus station earlier this afternoon. I didn't cry which is good and I didn't see my mom cry either which is good also. We had nice weekend together. The night they got here my sister and I saw the new Ouija movie because the new Madea movie was sold out! I was so upset it got sold out, but I was happy that we got to see a scary movie since horrors are my favorite. Yesterday we had my son's birthday party. It was nice and while not everyone we invited showed up, we still had good time with our loved ones who did. We ate ice cream cake, opened gifts, played spider man version of pin the tail on the donkey, and busted up a pinata. It was really nice and my family definitely enjoyed spending time with my son and we enjoyed spending time with them. After that, my sister and I had a horror movie night where we managed to squeeze in about 3 horror movies before going to bed. Today we left early enough to see the inner harbor in Baltimore, grab some lunch, and then get them to the bus station. We took a few wrong turns and almost got them there too late, but we got them there in time. It was a little saddening to see them go, always is, but we will be seeing them in December for Christmas. I am debating on if I should go by bus because my son's car seat is so difficult to install and uninstall in cars. Not sure if the bus seats even have anchors. We'll see. How was your week end?
