My visit to the oncologist

Not a very good day at my oncologist.My blood count down to 8.4
But I could not get a shot for my blood pressure was way up too high.
180 over 60,/they will not give you a shot when your pressure is up too high.
I am to return there on Friday.I mentioned before that taking a new medication at this time it is not working.I have been on for it a week.
Really down on this.
Have to returned on Friday to see if the blood pressure is down.Need to be at least 160 or under.
Not a very good afternoon.

@JamesHxstatic no luck.Try it again next week.The med.seems to be working as the count is coming down

sometimes the doctor has to try several to find the ones that work as i went through' that too but Im fine now so it was worth i t

Sorry to hear that your blood count was down and that you have to go back on Friday. Hopefully your pressure will be low enough to get your shot. I dont' blame you for being upset

@Marilynda it was still too high.But this week the pressure is coming down.My next visit is election day.LOL

How do they measure your blood pressure? When Husband goes for a check up they use the electric machine and his bp is always far too high. They then always use the good old-fashioned manual contraption and it reads as normal. Every single time. No idea why, but the electric bp measuring machines just don't agree with him!

@andriaperry I do not have cancer.On the border line mylodeplasa.not spelled right.The bone marrow is not making enough red and white blood
