Starting a new business…

I am taking the plunge after much encouragement from the gentlemen and my friend to start a work at home business that will teach computer skills, couponing, web site designs, tutoring and the like. These are things I like to do as well as writing and journalism, but I am not getting paid like a few writers out there we know, so I must find ways to supplement the work. So those of you out there that have your own home business, what are some of the best applications you use? What do you find that helps you? Just throw in your two cents here.
