spot check by the boss

well, I was doing my work as usual. done nothing wrong. everything is fine in office. everyone is busy. then my boss popped in. think he is just doing a random visit.. but there is still somehow a kind of invisible stress when boss visit... anyway, we talked a bit, joked a bit. nothing much other than doing some simple updates. do you have similar feeling when your boss pops by your desk or office? or is it just me? My boss used to sit very near my desk, so I wasn't quite exactly stressed when he passed by. But usually he doesn't talk to me... only people sitting around me. Everyone has by now experienced the extent of boredom I could create...

It is sometimes better not to hear from or talk to bosses. Means everything run smoothly

You are not the only one to feel nervous when the boss visits I even think that we work harder when the boss shows up

My stress level immediately rises when my boss walks in my office. I never know what kind of mood he will be in.

I feel nervous too when my boss is around. Since he is my superior, I talk to him in a different manner the way I talk to my colleagues. I am just sometimes thinking that I hope I can answer everything he will ask.

Dear XinfulThotz's Boss, I know you can see on your computer your employee's visits during working hours. I hope you have considered that the time spent with this may actually add to your employee's productivity. As outside interaction it can sometimes add some humour and goodwill into the workday. Yours truly, your online friend too

My heart is pounding whenever the headmaster enters my classroom, and stands for some minutes just to watch me handling my students.
