Out of thousands of entries, my granddaughter was one of 50 children to win four tickets to Gracie Mansion Halloween. For those of you who never heard of Gracie Mansion, it is where the mayor of New York City lives with his family during his term in office. Mayor Bill de Blasio and First Lady, Chirlane McCray, are opening their home for three days. The primary ticket holder must be a New York City resident, over 18, and must be accompanied by a child between 6-10 years old to gain admittance. So the whole family will attend. There will be a haunted house tour, pumpkin decorating, and trick or treating at the front door. She is attending on Sunday.
