~Got It All Done And Re-Homing Jules~

I had a lot to do today and I got it done. The kids did their school work and I got the cleaning done. =) I'm surprised I got it done and excited at the same time.
I do have some not so good news. We have to rehome our one dog, Jules. We got her in February and we were hoping for a companion for our other dog. They have never gotten along though and they have gotten into a really bad fight.
It's not fair to keep one of them locked up all the time so we have to say goodbye to Jules. Someone text and said they might want her so we will see what happens...
I'm very sad but we have given it months and tried everything. It's just not working. Our son's stuff is being chewed up too because Jules doesn't want to be in his room. All around it's an unfair situation...

@xstitcher Thanks. She is very sweet but the dogs are just not getting along and I don't think they ever will. =( I don't want either of them to get hurt.

Thats why you do a meet and greet before you purchase or bring home another dog,you bring the original dog with to meet the new one.That would save a lot of heartache, however I'm glad that someone may want her. I hope the dog is loved by its new family if and when it goes. Sorry you have to give up one of your four legged babies!

@nafretiti The shelter we got her from wouldn't allow us to bring our dog with us to meet each other. And Jules was being treated for heart worms when we got her so they weren't allowed to meet at first anyway since we didn't want our other dog sick too.

@LovingMyBabies what?! what kind of shelter is that, thats bullcrap. Any good shelter would let you do that, I would have ran the other way at that point or talk to management. Because it keeps the chances down that a dog is returned, any other shelter I know allows you to bring your dog or do it in an outside area.

That's sad because your daughter loves that dog. However dogs, like people, sometimes take a dislike to one another and there is not much we can do about it. We have a problem with two dogs that would fight if we gave them the chance. I hope Jules has gone to a good home, you could check up on him from time to time couldn't you?

I'm sorry Jennifer. It must be hard but you did the right thing for Jules and your other dog. I pray all goes well with Jules new home.
