Those Drops Are Sure A Pain

I had an appointment this morning with my eye surgeon to check if everything was okay. The good news is that he said yes, everything is okay. First he had to put those eye drops to dilate the pupil. What a nuisance they are. After 3 hours, I still see too blurry. I had to cancel my little planned shopping trip. Not happy about that. I hope that I will fine soon and can concentrate on doing something in the house. How is your day going so far? By the way, the weather turned out to be beautiful.

No rain today, I am glad to say. Yes, those drops are annoying until they wear off.

Has the blurry vision gone by now? I imagine it would be hard to use a computer if it's still blurry. Enjoy the beautiful weather!

They are 75% gone, that's why I am able to read a bit here (by concentrating more than usual) and type. Soon, they will be gone!

@marlina Sorry, I'd forgotten that or rather mixed you up with another member. Seems that several members have had problems with their eyes lately.

The weather here is wonderful; sunny and mild. Cold in the mornings, mild at noon and cold again in the evening

Well I am glad that both of your surgeries are behind you now. It was a gloriously mild day here, my husband and I had a late afternoon bonfire in our back yard. It will likely be the last of the 2016 year, and it was nice. We still have 2 chairs out on the deck because with the forecast for the next few days we will likely be sitting outside.

The day has been warm and beautiful. I have been outside to plant the crocus bulb that will bloom from the beginning of February. I noticed that my gardenia in the greenhouse is still producing flowers.

@marlina No, never have had them before. I don't know why. Maybe because I go to an optician instead of an ophthalmologist.

I'm glad you have great weather. Sorry about the eye drops and canceled shopping trip. My day is going well. I got laundry done this morning and gave my daughter her birthday present. She loved it. I got her a lavender candle from my trip last week.

That dilation process, although necessary, really is a pain. Not a pain literally, but it sure puts a cramp in the day's plans, doesn't it?
