I want to make chicken and dumplings. I bought the chicken and have onion here but I don't have tins of cream of chicken.
How do you make yours? I am looking for another way to make it. I have to go to work tonight and can stop to grab a few.
Here in the south (USA), I make chicken and pastry, AKA dumplings. I boil the chicken, then add stripes of thin, floured pastry (Ann's Pastry is the best), then I add Swanson's chicken broth. That's simmered until done.
