British Summer time ends tonight! In just under an hour British Summer time end as we put the clock back one hour. Until about 10 minutes ago I had forgotten all putting the clocks back although all my clocks do it themselves. My Laptop and cell phone. When do you put the clock back in your country, maybe you already have? I personally can’t understand why we have to put the clock forward and then back each year, doesn’t make much sense to me.

In India we let the clocks remain as they are. Nights are getting longer day by day and days are getting shorter. We just adjust our life to this change.

@Marty1 Ok the day's will be darker or lighter at some point, but you only have so much light during the winter months anyway.

I agree it's just silly to go on with doing it each year.

I don't like changing the clocks twice a year either. I'd rather be like Hawaii and Arizona, the only two states that never observe the time changes.

We do not have daylight savings time here in the Philippines but the businesses that have British and American clients follow this procedure every time the clock moves forward or moves back. I know, this was tried in the Philippines at least once back in the day but the practice never got any traction and it was scrapped altogether.

Wish they would scrap it here too.

We don't change our clocks here since we only have two weather. But If i were there, I would be clueless about changing the clocks to favor the change in season.

I've got my first ever smartfone and my first mobile for nearly a decade. I've just set my alarm for the normal time and hope for the best...worst case scenario I get to work an hour early...or that's what I hope as my place is VERY fast to fire people for lateness

I know some farmers that think it makes no sense either. It is so the farmers have an extra hour to work.

I'm sure many people don't understand it why they go back and forth.
