Here's a recipe I use all the time you can subsitute the chocoalte chips for rasins if you want or just leave that part out. cup gluten-free old-fashioned oats 1/2 cup flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup butter, softened 1/2 cup packed brown sugar 1/4 cup granulated sugar 1 egg 1 teaspoon pure vanilla 1 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips 1/2 cup chopped walnuts Directions 1 In small bowl, mix oats, flours, baking powder, baking soda and salt with whisk; set aside. In large bowl, beat butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar with electric mixer on medium speed until fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Gradually add oat mixture, beating on low speed just until combined. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. 2 Shape dough into 16x1 1/2x1 1/2-inch log; wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate 1 hour or until firm. 3 Heat oven to 350°F. Unwrap dough. Using serrated knife, cut dough into 1/2-inch slices. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. 4 Bake 9 to 11 minutes or just until edges are golden. Cool 2 minutes; remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack.

@sharon6345 If you have a notepad or something like it on your computer you can copy and paste the recipe and save it that way.

@sharon6345 .....Check out Amazon and search 'Archway oatmeal cookies'. They are mostly only available if you have that program where you buy groceries but there are some that aren't. We used to get them over here at Albertson's but they quit.

This is the one I use. They go so fast that we double it and make 10 dozen at a time. You can add things like chocolate or peanut butter chips to it, too. Funny thing is this is one of the very few recipes my mom uses that I actually kept... it's been a holiday tradition in our family since I was a kid.

@sharon6345 It would be a whole trip for me, too. I haven't felt up to making them in a long time so I don't have any of the ingredients on hand anymore.
