Favorite "Girl's Name" Songs #10 - "Anne's Song"

I have, along with @FourWalls, done a music series on both "Girl" and "Boy" songs. While she is now doing "Woman" songs, I've spun off in a different direction, doing a new series on "Girl's Name" Songs (I'm also doing "Guy's Names" in the name of equality. #10 in my "Guy's Names" series is Faith No More's "Anne's Song." Faith No More's roots began in 1979 in San Francisco, California. The band does a funk rock with metal influences thing, and despite numerous linup changes and a lengthy hiatus, continues to record and perform music today. They have been nominated for three Grammy Awards. From their 1987 album Introduce Yourself, "Anne's Song" is one reason that it is such a great record. The vocalist on this particular album was Chuck Mosely, who fronted the group for five years. It was, according to Wikipedia, the final single released with Mosely as vocalist. Unfortunately, it failed to chart anywhere, which takes away not one iota from the song's greatness. Enjoy the official video:
