MADRID, Nov 25 (Reuters) - Brief reports of matches played
in the Primera Liga on Saturday:
BARCELONA 4 VILLARREAL 0
Barca striker Eidur Gudjohnsen made two crucial
interventions to pave the way for an emphatic win by the
Champions.
The former Chelsea player manufactured a penalty when he
threw himself to the ground after Villarreal defender Pascal
Cygan laid a hand on his arm in the area and Ronaldinho fired
home the resulting spot kick.
The Iceland international extended their lead early in the
second half when he nodded in at the far post and the stylish
Andres Iniesta added a third with an acrobatic volley.
But the young midfielder was outdone by Ronaldinho who took
his season tally to 10 league goals when he hooked a spectacular
overhead kick high into the net three minutes from time.

ATLETICO MADRID 1 REAL SOCIEDAD 1
Sociedad appeared to be on course for their first win of the
season when striker Gari Uranga got in between the Atletico
centre-backs to send a glancing header past keeper Leo Franco
midway through the first half.
But just when they looked as though they might hang on for
the win defender Ion Ansotegi chested the ball into his own net
after Luciano Galletti had hoisted a hopeful cross into the area
13 minutes from time.
