Do you get more money by starting conversations or by responding to conversations?

I'll start a converstation and often I get no responses and the number next to my username stays the same. However if I respond then that number goes up. The high the number the more money I get right.

Depends if you get a lot of responces. If you post discussion people want to answer, you do get earnings from those. You also get earning from answering discussions. I think it is best to do a combination of the two. When you answer make sure you give in-depth, thought out, quality answers to ensure you get the most out of your postings. Read the guidelines for posting because that will decrease the risk of your discussions and posts being deleted and your rating to go down.
