Kinda of a funny story ... :/

So when we went to the wedding in October my fiance borrowed a tux with tails from his friend. The day that we left to head back home we were two hours into our trip and he realized that he had forgotten the tux in the closet at my cousin's house. We decided not to turn back because it was getting late so we called her and told her that we had forgotten it and that we would get a hold of her with the address and she could put it on the bus and we would pick it up at the bus station when it got here. After we got back home, with the whole health issues I was having, I never got around to contacting her until last Sunday. I sent her a message on Facebook and asked her if she could put the suit on the bus. She asked me to call her when I got a chance. Well I called her last night and I wasn't expecting to hear what I did. lol She told me that her brother and his wife were up visiting after we left so she asked them if they would bring the suit back to us because they only live a short distance from here and it would save us paying to have it sent by bus. They said it wouldn't be a problem so they packed up the suit in a box and put it in the back seat before they headed back home. Their car was pretty full. They made a stop just outside of Montreal because they needed something in the bag seat. They sat the box with the suit in it on the roof of the car while they found what they wanted. They got back in their car and started driving. They heard a noise so they stopped and got out. They thought they had run over something but they didn't see anything so they continued on their way. It wasn't until two day later after they got home that they thought of the suit and then the realized what that noise was. They had forgot the box with the suit in it on the roof of their car and the noise was the box as it blew away. So the tux was lost on the road somewhere between Montreal and Quebec City!! lol My cousin awful when her brother called her and told her what had happened. She dreaded having to tell us because she know the tux was borrowed. They offered to pay for it but I told them not to worry about it after all it was our fault for having left it there in the first place. First I was in shock when she told me what happened and then I couldn't stop laughing. So my fiance had to call his friend last night and let him know what was going on. The friend seemed to take it pretty well but of course will be pay him for the suit so that he can replace it. In the suit bag was not only the tux jacket and the vest that he borrowed from his friend but also my fiance's two pairs of suit pants, two shirts, his tie, his top hat and his dress shoes. All of them were bought new for the wedding!! It is all gone!! That just seems to be the luck that we have....lol

Oh, no! If things can go wrong, they certainly will. What a disaster! If it happened to me, I wouldn't care, since I never wear the same thing twice. Lol! I would replace any borrowed items, too.

If it was just our stuff we would be the same way but yes we have to compensate our friend for his items. We have not luck at all.

Yes they are. Not much we can do about it now so I figured I might as well laugh instead of cry!

@Happy2BeMe That's true, I have plenty of days where I know if I don't laugh about things I'm going to cry or lose it. Laughing is usually the better option.

My fiance said that he hopes it was a homeless person who has nothing who came upon it. I thought that was a nice thought.

That is funny in a morbid kind of way. Gosh, what if it was rented? I bet they would want to have it replaced, though they probably have insurance.

It seems so bad..I don't even seem to laugh at it I mean..wedding is the mist important day, and important event. Anything going wrong is a bit unpleasant. And there all the stuffs was gone. How did they manage later? I mean..the wedding? Ofcourse they would have had to pay for the loses..
