Job "Perks"

I've had some jobs where we would have Christmas parties and they had raffles where you had a chance of winning something or I got Christmas bonuses as a "perk" for working for a company. My husband gets an Employee sticker to get into the State Park that he works in. Yesterday we got a deer, that the Game Wardens busted a poacher who was poaching deer. It's like a deer exchange program. The MIL's signed up as it's usually for the elderly or for the poor. Well, since my husband knows all of the game wardens in this area, we also got some. Since there aren't many people signed up in this area for the deer exchange, "hopefully" we'll get more deer meat. There is also another State Park about 30 miles from us. So any deer that the game wardens find that when they get the "poacher" we will get!! It was even cut up and quartered!! Do you like deer meat (venison?) ~Peace~ photo courtesy of pixabay

Congrats for Christmas bonuses.. How much day long does this game will go on? Is it just a day program or it lasts few days at least?

Even having it quartered and cut up. That must be nice I haven't had venison meat in years.

Yes I like venison. The best I ever had was a haunch from a guy I used to work with who had just spent the weekend shooting in Scotland. He had large chunks of the deer wrapped in a blanket on the front passenger seat of his car!

I like it if it's well marinaded. That's an impressive older buck!
