Bella's Elf On The Shelf

Well, it isn't actually Bella's elf. It is my brother's and he loves moving it around to different places during the holidays. On this particular day several years ago, he put the elf next to Bella and took a picture. I couldn't believe how well the picture came out and it really does look like it's her elf. This is one of my favorite pictures of Bella so I thought I would share it with everyone even though it's not Christmas yet.

Thanks! It looks like she is protecting her little friend but in reality, we had to take it away because she does have a history of destroying her stuffed toys.

@just4him It's my brothers so no, I didn't want her to destroy it. She does love her stuffed animals but as soon as she gets them, she will lay on the floor and chew until she can get all the stuffing out. My living room looks like it's covered in snow when she does this.

@BelleStarr Bella does too and she has taught Daisy to do it as well. As soon as stuffed animals are brought home, Bella will lay on the floor and chew until she gets all the stuffing out. My living room is covered in white fluff.

She did like the elf but unfortunately she usually destroys stuffed toys so the elf was taken away as soon as the picture was taken.

That is a cool picture. I don't have an elf to move around the house. Maybe this year I will start doing something like that. I will try and be creative.

@simone10 I could try something different. Maybe a reindeer. Or something else. I will see what I am going to do. That would be fun though. Putting the item in all kinds of situations.

You could really use just about anything that has to do with the holiday. I bought the little elf for my brother because he always wanted one but thought he was too old to get it.

Thank you! It was one of the few times that we have been able to get a good picture of her. She doesn't like the flash of the camera and will normally walk away.

@crazyhorseladycx Our apartment doesn't have a lot of natural light coming through. We do have a sliding glass door in our living room but the sun never shines directly through it.

Oh, she does destroy her stuffed toys. That's why as soon as the picture was taken, the elf was moved somewhere else.

I'll be seeing a lot of elves in the coming weeks. All of my friends who have young children use their elf and are forever taking photos! I really do like this one. They look like real friends.
