Did you buy any pumpkins for Halloween or for the Fall season?

I found a cool pumpkin that had been marked down at Target. It was only .29! Naturally, I had to buy it. This is not a typical orange pumpkin it is kind of light orange with green lines. I really like it. What about you? Pumpkins or no pumpkins? They are good for Thanksgiving as well.

@HAPPSINGH I check if delicious things are healthy or not. But I will not eat something only because it´s healthy.

I bought my first orange pumpkin last year and tried to follow several recipes. I did not like any of them so I went on with the gourds we usually have at lower price in my country.

I probably won't cook with this it is just for decoration..but pumpkin seeds are good for you..I might roast some.

@snowy22315 I don´t think I´ll spend again the amount that it costs in my country. There are other healthy things around that are unexpensive in my country. I think those orange pumpkins are imported.

@marguicha I would think they could probably grow pumpkins in chile at least in the higher elevations.

no, because we don't really celebrate halloween here, and we only have squash.
so did you carve your pumpkin? what do you plan to cook or bake with it?

No, here people usually carve their pumpkins for Halloween..I don't usually end up doing anything with the pumpkins...they just look festive!

No i didn't even buy a pumpkin this year. Yours sounds pretty cool though.
