If Donald J. Trump is so pro-America, why are ALL of his clothing manufacturing plants overseas?

This IS the guy that complains about American jobs leaving America, right? But absolutely nothing in the Donald J Trump collection is made in America. What's up with that?

He dips his toe into the murky waters of politics and you expect him not to be a hypocrite?? Do as I say people, not as I do!!

@vandana7 Don't be fooled. Trump just isn't clever enough to hide his murkiness as well as the experienced politico.

he's a bit stupid in his position, with his wealth, I'd have all my production in the US and take a smaller profit.

Sweet hypocrisy. I believe American products are likely to be more expensive (although, me as Italian, I bought some US clothes too) but once Trump gets to lead the country, maybe he will make these products more competitive? That must be a huge slice of the Make America Great Again slogan. But later, of course.

Seems a bit odd - but much about Trump seems odd. :)

Only because I've watched Shark Tank so many times do I understand that millionaires and billionaires believe in having production take place overseas to save money. Whenever someone shows up on Shark Tank and says that their product is being made in America, the "sharks" say they should move production overseas to save money. Every. Single. Time. I guess that's the mantra of the rich people. I think it stinks.

Well maybe they see collective income production between micro and macro economics we regular people are not privy to knowing or understanding, should entice us to learn more and actually get wealthier by experience they do, we just read about or watch . . . Shark Tank encourages getting involved using patent law to secure achievement and success, leaning into foreign countries to bring better distribution sounds smart not sneaky

He is a great business man. He gets things made as inexpensively as possible, to maximize profit. Then he does not make enough to pay taxes for 2 decades. Just one more way to help the local economy.

That is an excellent question. Supposedly even his "Make America Great Again" hats for the campaign are made in China. How clueless is THAT? and his supporters didn't even catch on! (or care)
