Put the weefee on! is my silent cry to Bus Driver. But this post is not about that. It’s also not about that big buffoon who is currently revelling in the joy of being President-elect, despite the title suggesting that it could be. Ooh, three police cars with blue lights just flashed by. Exciting. Or maybe just a training exercise. A question was posed in a film. The question was along the lines of, If you know the consequences of your actions, would you still do them? It was a bit of a daft question about the implications of your life in a world of non-linear time. I say daft, but I mean, what the eff!? If you experience time with memories of your whole future, surely you have no choice but to live the life you saw in those memories. They can't be your memories if they never happen, can they? I am a believer in the idea of Destiny, but not to the extent that my whole life is mapped out for me. I believe my end is determined and can't be changed; everything I do is leading to that pre-determined end, but I am still able to make those choices, or at least enjoy the illusion of making those choices. But to strip me of that illusion and make my future accessible, because it's not really my future, nor my past or present, would be a tad brutal. Stupid Aliens, coming to Earth and making me think too much. Blows my mind, it does. *smile*
