I don't care how long I have done my laundry myself, I always surprise myself with how much black clothing I wear. I separate my clothing from black clothing, light colors/white, and colors. And with the amount of black clothing I have, it always equals to about two loads. Goodness sakes. Meanwhile, my light colors has barely squat in them. It is silly, I am almost considering hand washing them because it is just so silly to have to waste so much water to wash that amount. Do you separate your clothing for laundry? And if you do, how many piles do you normally have?

Black is the best color to wear, but it is not always the best when having to line dry, hoping everything doesn't fade. haha!

@Happy2BeMe Oooh that would be a pain. I have learned to not wear much black when I go over to my dad's because of all the dog hair haha!

Ah, laundry day. Yep, I separate my dark colors from the light ones. And I throw fuzzy clothes into the light pile. Depending upon how gung-ho I am, I have 2–4 loads. Probably more if ever I were to do any deep cleaning and wash rugs and curtains. Nah, that can wait, don't you agree?

We don't have rugs and we do not really have a reason to clean the curtains haha dust just comes back on them in the matter of minutes.

I should, but honestly I'm lucky to keep up with the amount that the family generates. Does your machine have the option of reducing the amount of water used for a smaller load? I used to do that with our old washer. Doesn't quite work with the new front loader, though, so I can't run small loads like I used to. Actually, I've occasionally stuck pillows in there just to fill it up so I could run a few items through.

Yes it does, it is a top loader and my mom and I sometimes combine our clothing together if we do not like the size of the load, or even wash some bedding haha!

It is not, it is grey, but I wear a lot of band tees and they are normally black.
