when ur going into or leaving a store do u hold the door open if someone is behind u

That is the basic courtesy and one of the finest etiquttes. By doing so, one should observe the finest gestures people make.

I always hold the door for the person behind me. It is just a common courtesy and I was taught to do this at a young age. Respect for others.
