Hospice RN had to come last night

I was in severe respiratory distress with a low grade fever of 100.4. I was coughing up dark sputum, which I still am. It's tinged with blood from coughing so much. I was taking a morphine and duo-neb respiratory treatment when she came I was coughing so much I couldn't catch my breath. My oxygen concentration was 88 which is low. Normal is about 90 to 100. 90 is the low side of normal. The nurse said to take another antibiotic, and she gave me more morphine liquid that goes under my tongue. I thought I was dying last night. Kim got upset with me saying I'm not going to die, I'm just sick. She was right. I'm better now. I felt good enough to take a shower. Sean put a shower hose in when I was in rhea nursing home. I was smelling of pee because I wet my diapers several times. The diapers are good because My pajamas and bed stayed dry. I'm still coughing but not as much, but it's still bloody. That is just part for the course with my diagnosis of CHF and Cor Pulmonary, which is a slow death sentence. There is nothing to be done except treat the symptoms. That's it in a nutshell what happened last night and my every day life. You remember I told you that I have good days and bad days. We'll I'm having some bad days right now. See you later.
