Can certainly tell winter is knocking on our door

It was a wonderful unseasonably warm day in my corner of the world and we enjoyed taking advantage of it greatly. But I notice about 4:30 the sun started going down and so did the temperatures dramatic seems like it went from feeling like it was in the low 70's to almost in the 40's within 20 minutes. That might not have been the actual temperature but that what it felt like anyways.
Can definitely tell winter is around the corner. Not only are the days shorter but the nights are a lot colder. Winters can be extremely hard here and Im not looking forward to it. I hope though that this is a mild one but I guess only time will tell.

It certainly doesn't take long to cool off. I am dreading what is ahead. Winters are bad here also. Last year we had a good winter. The year before was the worst we had in many years so we shall see soon enough what will happen this year,

it seems like ever so often we get lucky here I keep saying we are due for one because it's been a few years. So hopefully maybe. I have an extremely hard time in the winter.

we have to take advantage of them while we can. The kids got done with their school work early so would could enjoy the extra time outside.

@AutumnSnow i was told to go out and go for a walk and enjoy the sun while i can.. but it wasn't sunny today. it was just warmer.

I hope your winter is mild. Our winters are nothing but mild so I know what to expect. Too bad I won't be able to enjoy our new fireplace for too long in our new home.

Yeah neither am I. With my health issues I have some of the worst flare up during the winter.
