the house is a mess! hahahaha!! but everyone is itching to put on Christmas decorations :) we need to first sort out the decorations that we have... like if we need to throw some decorations away.. if we can still use the lights.. the tree will come next month so we have to check the decorations for the tree if we have enough.. then we have to write the decorations that we can buy before putting all the decorations in the house

I always put them up the day after Thanksgiving. Used to do a lot more outdoor decorating, but will lessen that a bit from now on.

@therealmaryyy Yes, we used to get real trees when our son was little, but now the artificial tree is so much easier.

That sounds like a lot of work! We'll start putting ours up next Friday. I go through them as I put them away, so there shouldn't be much to discard or donate when we get them out. The biggest dilemma we have is what type of tree we should get this year. I want to get an expensive artificial one, but I would rather wait until the after holiday clearance sales when they are at least 50% off. We might get a small real Norfolk pine to decorate this year and buy the large tree on sale for next year, unless I happen to get a lot of gift cards between now and then.

PHL usually start putting Christmas trees/decors as soon as BER months starts..(e.g Sept 1). That's what we do years ago. Now, I havent started putting any decors yet (lazy me)

have not put any Christmas decorations in my house for years. I go to my daughter´s house and offer to help her in whatever she needs. But the decorations are done mainly by them and the kids.I
