i don't eat regularly in buffets. i just love Asian restaurants. feels like eating home food. we ate outside today in a restaurant called Zen Garden- an Asian buffet of Chinese, Japanese and Thai dishes.. i had full tummy! still full now and i'm thinking of not eating dinner but i'm sure i'll get hungry in the middle of the night.. of course i won't die not eating a meal.. but it will trigger my hyperacidity or heartburn..

I'm not a fan of buffets.. the food is quantity and not quality.

We eat at buffets occasionally but I always feel like I don't get my money's worth as I can't eat that much food at one sitting. But I love the variety and the immediate food as opposed to waiting after I order something.

I do like Golden Corral but that is the only buffet style restaurant I dine at. I have gotten sick twice from eating at Home Town Buffet so no longer go there.

@JohnRoberts maybe it was leftover food that they served

@therealmaryyy I have no idea what caused the upset stomach. But it was twice and both times Home Town.

I eat at a Chinese buffet about once a year and I always enjoy it when I do. I tend atomic overeat though because it is so good so that is why it is a rare treat.

I am not always quick at making choices so buffets present a bit of a problem. On the other hand, at least you don't get waiting staff hovering to take your order within seconds of you sitting down or them handing you the menu!
