A Poem For You Today

I don't think I have shared this poem with you.
The sun is shining bright.
The sky is cornflower blue.
The day has just begun,
So “good morning” to you.
I haven’t watched the weather.
I haven’t heard any news.
I haven’t had my coffee yet,
Or lined up my “P’s” and “Q’s”
I had a good night’s rest.
So, why am I still yawning?
I want to get my head on straight.
As this new day is dawning.
I hope your day is super.
And your week ahead is swell
May all your dreams come true.
And all your plans go well.
