Something is wrong with thecontrol of my TV.

I have 2 controls for my TV. One that is for the normal cable TV and one where I can use Netflix among other things.
The TV normal control is working and you won´t believe it, but the best show they have is a stupid one about brides that buy dresses for thousand of dollars.
I´d love to be able to see Netflix. At this time, I could even accept one of the movies my grandchildren watch. But the control is dead. I changed the batteries and nothing happens.
My life is not happy, right now.

my remote controller is not working for more than 10 weeeks. so that i change channel using the small buttons in the TV. it is not easy.
