would you believe, i just get my student's permit the other dy and i have to wait a whole month for the permanent ne. i still don't know how to drive but since i'm getting a car for Christmas, i have to learn fast. sounds okay, right, if you're still young. but i'm 39 already! it's just like learning to walk at the age of 10!

I was 17. My step-sister thought that she was going to get hers at 16 but our parents wanted to be fair so she had to wait till she was 17 too. She didnt like that at all.

I got my drivers license two months after I turned 16. It was a cold icy day. The schools were post poned for 2 hours because the roads were so slippery. I took my test during those 2 hours. I passed with flying colors though!

It's funny that I found this today. I actually just had this conversation with an online friend a lil earlier in the afternoon. I just got my L's on Tuesday. I'm 19. In Kentucky where I'm from, you can get a permit at age 16 and try for your L's 6 months later. The week before I was planning on going to get my liscense I was in the passenger seat of a friends car and we were T-Boned. I just recently got the courage to start driving again! I was a big chicken for so long, but boy does it feel good to be able to drive myself around... especially since I'm in college. Kinda goes with the whole freedom thing!
