I'm excited to go to a bar tonight to watch the Raiders play on Monday Night Football, so what better way to get me going than with #2 in my Favorite Raiders Players series, Defensive End Howie Long. Pro Football Hall of Famer Howie Long played his entire 13 year career with the Raiders, and the dude was a beast. Long finished with 91.5 Quarterback sacks, 10 fumble recoveries, and two interceptions. All of that work paid off. Howie Long won one Super Bowl with the team. He was an eight time Pro Bowler, three time First Team All Pro, two time Second Team All Pro, and was the NFL's Defensive Player of the Year in 1985. @Deepizzaguy - By the way, I spent two weeks in Panama with the Reserve unit I joined after I got out of the Army. Weird, because it was my first jungle experience, but really neat.

You are really reminding of how many awesome players were Raiders. I would never ever want Howie steamrolling toward me. What a massive beast!

If Howie were bearing down on me I'd probably just lay down.
