Our Christmas party in the office is fast approaching. My manager and my office mates decided to celebrate in an Eat-All-You-Can restaurant called the Sambo Kojin. It is a smokeless grill restaurant that offers variety of Japanese and Korean foods. Desserts and meat carvings are also included. I haven't tried this Sambo Kojin restaurant, but everyone agreed that this is where we will celebrate our Christmas party. I am so excited and I am looking forward for this event.

There were few food joints near my home when I was a kid.......... I used to go there.......... but the package is so smartly build that you end up like paying as you do in regular billed system. few years back we (office team) again went to same system, and I found same smartness. but good thing is they are mostly designed in a way that its a win win situation, we (including me) were happy in the end as its a lump sum payment. you dont have to check your pockets in the end.

@chiwasaki here in my country we have more options for Eat-All-You-Can. I was thinking that way. You are very right with your point of view. In india All-you-can-eat is available with different prices. as we have wide options now. As -North indian food -South Indian - Central Indian -Western Indian -Eastern once - localized restaurants called dhaba - some hotels serve international foods

I donĀ“t specially like them. Although they are a lot better than fast food restaurants, usually the food is not the best quality. They cannot have a good chef there as the idea of those restaurants is to make the people that eat a lot happy.

@marguicha There is a luxury Eat-All-You-Can here in the Philippines. The food is good and prepared by different specialized chefs.

@infatuatedbby I only tried Eat-All-You-Can restaurant twice. The first one is an Italian restaurant (pasta, pizza, etc.) then next is a Japanese-Korean and lastly is a luxury buffet which is my birthday gift to my husband.

I tried the All You Can Eat option twice, the only flaw was the waiting time but it can be worth it if you know you can easily eat like a starving pig! And I can! It's also good to hear desserts are included, it is not always like that in some places.

@sabtraversa I remembered the desserts in the Vikings restaurant/buffet. I think there are more than one hundred available desserts from ice cream, chocolates, cakes, etc.

@ms1864 I think I can only finish a few plates and Eat-All-You-Can restaurants are quite expensive.

We call them "all you can eat" here in the US. Of course these are usually buffet type restaurants where the food is placed in heated racks where we can then get what we wish and take it back to our tables. The place you'll be going for your Christmas party sounds delicious and I hope you will enjoy it.
