President Obama just pardoned two turkeys

I just watched President Obama pardon two turkeys for showing up on someone's table top on Thanksgiving. I know this is a yearly thing for the presidents to do. I never heard him so funny and he looked so relaxed. Could it be because his life is about to change for him and his family. It was fun to watch and he had two young nephews with him that seemed to be enjoying the whole thing.

That is nice. I am sure there is a big weight lifted off his shoulders now and he can just relax and make the most of the rest of it.

The president does that every year. I remember it and think it is so great.

@ramapo17 Definitely. You can just about see them 'ageing in place'. That term is used here for facilities where you can live independently right through to nursing home care without having to move. I think many world leaders age pretty rapidly once they get into office.

@JudyEv You are so right. And then give them a year or so and they start to age nicely.

Yes, he pardoned Tater and Tot. Apparently, both Tater and Tot stayed in a hotel last night. Lucky turkeys.
