Week one day three of the temporary post office work and I was put right back on the same duties as the previous day which I was very happy about. Myself and the other two temps assigned to the same tasks were left virtually unsupervised and we just got on with the work.
Sadly just after lunch we were once again sent home early due to there being too little work coming in for a full day. This is likely to hit my salary hard if it continues.
I got some food in and bought a big box of Xmas cards to start writing them out for various friends. I also sent some short stories off to publishers.
Friends sent me a photo of myself captured at their recent ‘seas’ themed house party in my bits of pirate garb. You can see Spongebob Squarepants, Captain Pugwash, and Mr Cadbury’s Parrot among other paraphernalia about my person here.

Well, at least work is going good and they do not micro manage you. Awesome photo, I need to get that hat. I love anything about pirates and crossbones. Could you tell? lol

@Jessicalynnt yes, I lose my benefits as my earnings slightly exceed my welfare even though my earnings are reduced by the hours being cut down - it should get busier from tomorrow though as Xmas gets closer
