I'm dreaming of SPRING ..... yeah, I know, it's too early for that 0.o

A shot taken in March 2012, not a lot of poppies but enough to make it colorful

Boy, you'd think I'd be dreaming of a white Christmas but no, not me, I'm dreaming of Spring. It's not really too cold here yet but I'm not looking forward to that cold month that's just around the corner. Maybe if I dream of spring it will be spring yeah, as if that'll happen. So now that it's the darkest of Fridays, are you staying home and playing it kool ? That's what I'm doing. IF I shop it'll only be online. Well, if you're about to head out I hope you find what you wanted and stay safe. Or if you've just returned I hope you're not too frustrated with all those crazies out there or if you are then sit back have a milkshake and relax .... as for me I'd rather have hot tea with a bit of rum. Here's to all of you brave folks who when out and about today, may all of you be safe.

I surely do not dream of a White Christmas, if this will be the case, we will stay at home, near the fireplace. I do not want to risk my life to reach the rest of the family.

I would do exactly the same thing. Hopefully we will get snow on Christmas eve only and maybe a tiny bit on Christmas day, we don't get snow here often and since we got some in early February we probably will not get anymore.

That must be really pretty to look at @LadyDuck but it would be way too cold for me. They predict we could be right around 13 all next week. but for now it is about 16 which is warm enough to only require a long sleeved shirt until it becomes windy.

@rebelann The top of the hills and the mountains are already all white. Today is sunny and not too cold, it seems that the coming week it will be colder.

I feel exactly the same and much prefer summer to a White Christmas. Maybe I should hibernate for the winter.

That sounds like a good plan. Your winter is probably much longer than ours. Himmm, if I were stuck in that long of a cold spell I'd get a whole lotta nuts, cheese and plenty of water together then hide out under the covers while watching TV.

@rebelann Our TV seems to be repeating over and over again the same episodes. Sick of it.

This post does not move me one bit specially when I have been longing for snow flakes all over me which has never never happened even when I was holidaying in places where it happens

We feel your pain-warm weather is much preferred here too. Some neighbors love the cold and the snow, but we just don't see where that is fun at all.

I think it's only fun for the kids, I recall a time I loved snow but I was 7 or 8 and still sure footed.

Funny thing is I'm hoping Colorado gets a lot of snow, if they do maybe the Rio Grande will be full once more.

I know @crazyhorseladycx the more people who move to the southwest the more scarce water becomes. It's sad when you consider that Native Americans prior to the 1400s only passed through the deserts along with the bison. There was enough water in the Rio to fill it 2 miles wide down these parts. People have a bad habit of destroying nature.

@rebelann 'tis workin' to make yer hopes come true, hon. i believe the 4 corners're still under a winter weather watch 'long with some parts 'f colorado. sadly the rio bein' full's gonna require folks to not be so wasteful 'n i don't see that happenin' anytime soon :(

No need to dream of white here, it is already very white. Some outdoor skating rinks have opened. Glorious winter; I love it. Spring is coming but we might as well embrace what we have now.

That's a great attitude. Generally there's more windy cold with no moisture let alone snow in these parts and nobody likes blowing dust or sand..

It's not like that here @paigea instead of rain or snow, we're more likely to get the winds that kick up the dust and sand.

yep. Now if I could do like bears and eat til I have a thick layer of fat then hibernate maybe I'd think about it. As if that'll ever happen.

Well, the good thing about climate change is most places are warmer than usual. I hate the cold also.

I believe that depends on which part of the world you're in. Some areas that were once really hot no longer are. Since the earth was knocked off it axis everything has changed.

You can add me to your list of "Spring Wishers" as we had one day that looked like winter and I hated it.

That makes sense, when it's raining or snowing the last place to be is traveling.
