I am 40 plus and I have an apprehension that I may inherit a cardiac problem and I take half cup of cinnamon water twice a week. This, I think act as a natural blood thinner and has many benefits. I also learnt that If not exercised with caution, it has some side effects.Taking Cinnamon over extended periods of time will build a certain level of toxicity in your body. Cassia Cinnamon is said to have high levels of Coumarin & other toxic substances which cause liver failure if taken daily. Cinnamon may also reduce your blood sugar levels depending on the quantity you take.
