It seems somewhere in my stockpile of postcards, this wonderful delivered one, got lost and I havent done a post on it yet!
The quaint tourist map on the postcard was sent - well I actually dont know the date on the postage stamp as it is very faint. However it was when Barry was running around the Isle of Mann a while ago.
The stamp is quite the catch - celebrating the 50 years of the Curraghs Wildlife Park which sounds like a great adventure if you are visiting the Isle of Mann.
Now the interesting thing about the stamp is the FISHING CAT - its a rare endangered kitten that was born at the Curraghs Wildlife Park in the north of the Isle of Mann.
"This kitten is only one of about 10 born in the past year worldwide, so this is incredibly exciting news."
"Fishing cats are an endangered species of cat from Asia, which challenge the common understanding that all cats hate water."
So this was an interesting find in the stockpile of my postcards - I do apologise to Barry for not featuring it earlier. @Asylum
What are you thoughts on my treasure!
