We die because all living beings die, human beings, animals, plants. If you were a rock, you wouldn't die. When we die, we're (usually) buried and then our bodies decay.

@phister There are millions of acres of land on this earth that are uninhabited. There is plenty of room for every person who has ever lived to live on the earth now. Do you read the Bible? God has promised that the paradise on earth will be restored in the future. Psalm 37:9-11 says: "For evildoers themselves will be cut off. But those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth. And just a little while longer and the wicked one will be no more and you will certainly look for him but he will not be found. But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth and they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace." Jesus himself said: "Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth." It will be a cleansed earth. All wickedness and wicked people will be removed. Jesus told us to pray for "God's Kingdom to come and for God's will to be done on earth." He would not have told us to pray for something that will never happen. God's Kingdom WILL come. We don't know when, but it is a promise that God made to us and we know that God cannot lie. God's Kingdom is a real government that will do away with all earthly governments and will rule forever. Read Daniel 2:44 It says that: "the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin and the kingdom...will crush and put an end to all" earthly governments . Daniel 12:1-4 says that "there will certainly occur a time of distress" in the earth. And we are seeing that distress on the news every day. 2 Timothy 3:1-5 calls this time of distress "the last days" Read it for yourself in your own Bible.

@IreneVincent Yes truly God Kingdom will surely come and that is the prayer we do pray every day of our life in Lord's prayer, Let your Kingdom comes and Let your will be done on earth as it's in heaven.

Why do we die? You die because you stepped in front of the bus going at high speed in the bus lane. What happens to us when we die? The two legged vultures come to get what remains. Anything else you need to know? God only wants what is alive in you.

When you die, ‘you will return to the dust,’ the Bible says. However, it also shows that death is not necessarily the end of everything.

Whatever your beliefs, most people seem to agree that the body left behind when we depart this mortal coil is just a heap of bones and flesh. But what happen...
