My grand daughter is staying over tonight

I haven't been around much this evening. I picked my grand daughter up after her music program and she is spending the night. We had a lot of fun. She is in bed now and I am going to head there soon.
I hope you are all having a nice evening. I will catch up with everybody tomorrow.

@Happy2BeMe She probably would have stayed the night with us last night. I didn't want to try it though. Perhaps when warmer weather gets here she will be more relaxed around her grandpa and okay with being away from mommy.

@ElusiveButterfly It takes them a little time to getting use to being away from mom. I remember many times my granddaughter crying for her mommy when she spent the night.

@infatuatedbby no but I still hadn't put the lights on when she was here. All the lights are on now so she is going to help me decorate when she comes over on Thursday. Everything else is done.

It makes me so happy that you spend time with your grand daughter so much! =) Your such a good grandma. I wish when we lived closer that my parents cherished my children more and wanted to spend time with them. Oh well, something they have to live with.

@LovingMyBabies That is really sad. Even if I was tired and my grandkids wanted to come see me I would be excited for their visit. I love being a grandma!

Thanks, I don't know why they wouldn't want to. It is their loss. I treasure and appreciate any time I get to spend with my grandchildren.
