~A New Day Brings New Things~

Good morning! It is true a new day brings new things! I am feeling very grateful today. =) Yesterday I was feeling down and out-feeling like things were at a stand still with everything that was going on. But today...well it is a new day!
We are getting our van back on the road! 
My husband talked to the dealer he got the van from and he said he is waiving the fees and taxes so now it will only cost $200-instead of $700! So...my husband is going there today to get the tag. =)
Also, Aunt Mary told us today that she only needs $300 and she will be leaving. She said she has to go to Louisiana to where she will be taken care of. 
Whatever, we do the best we can but we also have a family of our own to take care of. And it was hard for us to do things for her when we had no vehicle to get anywhere with. 
Anyway, things are seriously looking up and I am so grateful! 
Tomorrow we should be starting to move into the new house!

So happy things have worked out with the van. I understand how incredibly hard it is to be without a car/van to get around. Glad Aunt Mary is almost ready to move on too. You and your family really don't need the extra stress of her in your everyday lives. Perhaps she came to be a lesson for your kids, that some people aren't happy unless they are complaining about everything and anything. By the way that is the focus of my Sunday school lesson in the morning. I thought about her some when I came across the lesson but more about someone in our life who is never happy and murmurs about everything. It's very frustrating to be around people like that.

@Dena91 Thank you! I am so grateful right now! =) It was so difficult without having a vehicle-it made things so hard on us.
I think she was here to teach us all a lesson actually, to be grateful for what we do have-even with negative all around us. God was telling us to look to Him regardless of who's trying to tear you away.
She's the same way, constantly mumbling under her breath complaining, rolling her eyes, huffing and puffing about things, complaining out loud too of course about anything and everything, being mean to our kids, etc...

Aunt Mary is really a hoot, isn't she?
I've said it before, and I'll say it again: she's an adult capable of taking care of herself. Not your problem if she doesn't want to and thinks she's the matriarch everyone needs to bow down before.
