I wont be Modest at ALL!

Its a beautiful sunny summers day in my Shire, and the temperature has already passed the 36*C at midday. The swimming pool is my daily comfort at the moment, but yesterday it had to take second place after a great day on the Bowling green.
M&M (that is mom and Mecé) were invited to play in a 4 Bowl with Provincial players as a Fundraiser for the provincial sides. We were asked by two random players - one in the Mens A side and one from the Ladies A side.
I am not going to be modest at all - we played SUPER FABULOUS and won the day walking away with a unexpected FIRST PRIZE cash bonus of $30 each.
Not bad for a long day playing ones favourite sport in the grueling sun - and of course the rewards of the cool swimming pool afterwards and some R&R!
How do you like them apples? - were my thoughts to all the provincial players we beat!
Naughty but oh so nice was the feeling. No Modesty at ALL!!
I thought I would share, and brag a little!

36°C is way too hot for me, but you are lucky to enter in Summer when it is quite freezing in my place.
Congratulations for the first prize for your super fabulous wonderful team. I hesitated to add "lucky", but there was no luck there for what I read

yay for monies, winning, and nice weather! It was cold today, but I made at least 50 dollars at work, have 2 more shifts, thurs and fri, and one shift next week (I need to try hard to find a second, and prob a third) my goal is to work 2-3 days a week, I could use the money on more, but it's hard getting back into it, and money isnt that tight, yet.

Go girl! You are going from strength to strength with your bowls. You obviously have a talent! And I'm leased we're not that hot here, our hottest temp where I live has been abut 23C and on the other coast our sone experiences about 25 - 28C most days.
