Have You Been To Traders Joe's

Canada

I haven't yet but will as soon as I can. Do you know about Two Buck Chuck? (wine) I thought they were just on the east coast. My niece used to buy wine for us at $2 a bottle for camping. (she shopped in the Boston area.) Its a grocery and everything else store like the other big groceries of today, they sell wine and beer, nick-knacks and a lot more. I've never been to one so I am curious. @TheHorse mentioned it in a comment on one of my posts. He went to one in California - there goes my thoughts that it was an east coast thing... So I googled it and there is one just across the border...and I never knew, there is a string of them across New York State in several large cities. Who Knew? NOT ME. i will be checking it out. I can't bring wine across the border but I can buy their cheap wine that we enjoy while camping ( on my way to camp). I'm curious what else they sell. I've heard their prices are good.. Oh and in case you think I'm a wino, we need an empty bottle to put our candle in that drips and entertains us for the two week we camp. It would be a shame to just empty a bottle on the ground, so we drink it the first night and then use the empty bottle... Have you tried two Buck Chuck? Have you been to a Traders Joe's?

I don't believe I've ever heard of them, but I just looked them up and we do have one nearby. I might go check it out next time I'm in that area..

katsmeow1213 I had no idea they were in NY, My sister would go to Rhode Island to shop there while visiting her daughter in Boston. Now they seem to be everywhere.

I looked on line and was surprised to see so many in NYS, that is new because the only one we knew about was in RI.

Trader Joe's is one of my favorite stores to shop at, and I'm very fortunate to have one right close to where I live! That's convenient for when I have to run and get more Two Buck Chuck! lol

You are right, It must have been Mass. that those first bottles came from. There are a lot of Trader Joe's in Mass, Conn, and NY. There are stores, you can see them on line and RI has none!

We have not been to a Trader Joe's although we drive by one. Just can't think of what they would have that we need.

We had several bottles a few years ago before Trader Joe got big and opened all over the place. Rhode Island and Massachusetts was the only places we knew of and my niece who lived in the area brought it for us while camping. It was delicious!

We stopped shopping in the states a few years ago. But I did think that adults were allowed a bottle-depending on the length of time you stayed over there. I've never been to Trader Joes, but the other store sounds interesting.
