A Little Packing Today For Nothing Well, we were going to head to Florida for Christmas but it has all fallen through. We are on winter storm alert and it could turn into a blizzard! We are getting two arrival times, but not sure which one to believe. All I know is that isn't here yet, but once it does arrived, the snow just keeps coming and coming. One of our worries was that we would arrive home at the end of December and couldn't pull into the driveway. It's about a 5 minute walk and I doubt that anyone would to excited about wading through who knows how much snow just to get to the snow blower. It seems that our first Christmas in Manitoba will be spent... right here!!

So sorry to hear that. It is hard to travel this time of year and there is almost guaranteed to be a storm sometime over the holidays.

We have pretty well driven through everything on our trips down and back. Maybe staying here was just meant to be!!

Oh dear. Are you staying because of the possible problems when you get back or is it too dangerous to leave?

A little of both and then there is the long drive that will now be an extra day that none of us liked! Everything happens for a reason!

Oh no. Sorry to hear that, my friend. Better safe than sorry .. and snowbound. My dad always drives to Florida around this time of the month until March.
