The love letter

A few minutes ago I got a love letter from a 4 year old ( a student of mine) Can you you believe this. It was simple it said '' I love you because I love you. I love your hair and your smile. I love you because you give me gifts '' well to start with this 4 year old happens to be the son of my best friend. My god I dare say I loved the letter. It is soo pure and cute. I wish grown up guys could do something soo cute

It's complicated with grown ups.... Children have this amazing ability to operate from a state/ space of nothing which means , they can do anything in a space which has nothing in it.... they feel so free....no baggage or carry forwards....
They said : We should be a child forever.... but I wanted to grow up.... and now there is no way to go back....
I wish I could be a 4 year old....

That is true. I mean guys will never pour their heart out. Maybe its because of the fear of getting hurt or rejected. But I still liked the letter. Its cute. Guys these days wont even act cute (at least the one around me)

@Helpingmana Maybe the guy is but you just didn't realize or overlooked....I am sure you liked the letter and happy to see you happy with it.... :)God bless the little one....
But still.... It's quite complicated for grown up guys.... it's not the fear of hurt or rejection, they are too easy ... It's just Complicated.... :)

He is a bit too young for a boyfriend. 
I think he will be quite a romantic person when he grows up. That letter will be a nice memento to keep!

But as a teacher you need to stop him, so that he wont do such things with others. As, you know him that's why you feel quite and pure but other people might get hurt also.
It is too early for a Love letter to him.

Yeah correct, we can take this as his innocence. Might be he has shown his love to you as you are taking care of him.
