I let a friend borrow my house phone for a week. She could not get one till she got her check. Well that ended up being over a month long. I missed out on all calls of people that did not have my cell number. I just messaged her on facebook to tell her that I am upset that she kept it that long. I also let her know that I no longer want the phone back. I decided to buy me a new phone. After I give her this Christmas gift I will not contact her again. I am not going to friend anyone that borrows and can't return. That means to me you just don't care. I am good with just myself if it comes down to it.

Sad when you can't trust somebody that you considered a true to return your phone to you. You are best just to walk away.

Some people just don't care. Someone lets them use something and they have no respect or care to get it back to them. Goodness.

@sharon6345 .....Good. I wonder if she may even wonder why you treated her that way. Sometimes people just don't get it. It totally amazes me.

When I lose a friend I see it as their loss

I guess that's why I don't let people borrow anything anymore have had that happen too many times. My husband let who we thought we're friends borrow some of his tools and never returned them and when he questioned them they suddenly stop having anything to do with us. Never again.

A friend that does not return your phone is not really a friend.
