People annoy me

Seems I've been rather irritated lately - unfortunately.
I was at my physician's office (nothing major), and I noticed sectioned off was an "ill" waiting area. I was thrilled. -- Now those who were sick with something catchy could sit off to the side and hopefully not contaminate those of us who were well. Well my good mood didn't last long. People coughing, sneezing and blowing their noses piled into the "well" area. It just really irritated me. Not everyone wants to be exposed to your colds.
I sat next to a lady. The overhead light started blinking, so we made small talk about that. I quipped "it looks like a party in here". Well her boyfriend walks in - he too comments on the light to which she repeats my "party" statement. Gr. It irritated me. Of course it may have been the fact that I haven't had a date in 4 years that irritated me more. Though I most certainly wasn't jealous of her present condition as she was pregnant. (I mean no offense to those who are mothers or are expecting on here - only that it's something I'm for sure that I don't want in my life.)
Or take last night at the gym. Most people wear headphones so to not annoy everyone else with their taste in music. Except this one chick who saw fit to blast the music out loud sans headphones. To make issues worse she liked this modern "music" you know the popular stuff that sounds like Alvin and the Chipmunks only sped up, but to be honest I would have been irritated even if it were music I liked the concept of it would have me irritated.
So what do you guys think? Reasons to be annoyed or should FayeHazel learn to be less of a crabby pants?

@FayeHazel I talked to a friend today who shed a little light on it. I've been dealing with a medical issue for quite a while and waiting for the insurance to authorize the medication. I've been waiting for over two weeks and I've been without any medication for over a month now.

You're right, sometimes the cause is apparent - but sometimes, harder to see. Have you gotten any clarity in your own case?

@just4him - I think it's a crime that the hang up on your insurance's part leaves you without the medication you need. I hope it gets resolved soon.

I really wish that it would become common in the United States for sick people to wear masks when out in public.

Faye, I understand why you were irritated. I hate being places where people do not cover their mouths when they cough and I have to breathe in their germs and then get sick. I find things that irritate me too and then I get annoyed also. There are people that think about others and people that do not. There were always be considerate people in this world and nice as well and then there are very selfish ones too. Take care Faye.

I think we all have those days when we're annoyed by one thing, then everything else is magnified tenfold. OR days when we're just not feeling our best and get annoyed with the smallest thing. Or when a bunch of things which, individually, wouldn't bother us end up grating on us because it seems never ending.
I definitely think that having to listen to someone else's 'music' is a perfectly good reason to be annoyed! I have days (often a couple of days or more at a time) when I'm really grumpy. There's not always a reason, but there is sometimes a trigger (sometimes not) and I just get annoyed to the point of getting annoyed with myself for being annoyed! It's OK to have those days. No need to worry until grumpy days become more frequent than happy days. For me, it means I'm turning into my cranky old mother @nannacroc and I wouldn't want to do that. :P

Oh, I'd take a chill pill. Half of all humans are below average, listen to garbage music, watch garbage TV, and drive like fools. I just try to be an observant sphinx. I'd rather be amused than grumpy. Sometimes it doesn't work, though.

When you are in bad mood everything seems to be irritated may be if you were in a good mood if you have joked about it ..may be i dont know..just a guess
