In fourteen days time, if not sooner, I'll be handing my second draft manuscript to my editor - all 26,000 words and 21 photographs. I have nearly come to the end of the road, until the next publishing and marketing phase that is. I've taken three years of reserching and writing to reach this stage and I'm defintely ready for a break. I've done all the fine tuning of the text and now I'll gladly let my editor do the rest. I've told my husband and friends I'm unavailable for all but ready made commitments in the next three days as I surge forward with checking references and inserting citations. This means having a myLot break as well. I may pop in briefly, but mostly I will be unnoticed. Then, I'm looking forward to being back before Christmas. In the meantime, I'm sure you'll enjoy your mylotting experience.

If your editor is going to do the rest why do you say you will be busy?

As I said above, my manuscript goes to the editor in about two weeks time, so before then I'll continue going over it with a close eye, correcting any errors and inserting any missing references etc. It takes quite a bit of concentrated time.

Thanks, the end is in sight. Writing non-fiction is far more intense than my previous memoir book!

So you are a busy girl. This does qualify as more important than Mylot.
