The Disappearing Day

United States
December 7, 2016 4:44pm CST
I can't believe that I've had no time to be here until now. I left off yesterday saying I was going to the doctor and never had a chance to come back and respond (which I'll be doing shortly) Today just flew by. I got caught up in phone calls I needed to make regarding my moms estate, a phone call to my friend whose mom just passed away, and a long time on the phone with Medicare getting myself enrolled in a prescription drug plan. Throw laundry, and general house cleaning into the mix and here we are and it's already dinner time. I have chicken in the oven which gives me a little while to sit here and chat while it cooks. My mind is spinning as it's just been one of those days which required brain work more than house work and I'm tired. Lately I feel as if I have no time for anything and I can't explain why. Crazy!!

There never are enough hours in a day. Just tend to what you are able to do without stressing yourself out. Yeah, that advice just came from the queen of stress.

@Marilynda1225 one of my clients actually told me to take a deep breath today. LOL. I am usually the one to tell others to take a deep breath and slowly exhale. Man does that really feel good when you actually do it yourself.

Talking on the phone to get your Medicare settled would kill my brain cells!

The good thing is you took care of a lot of business today - you were quite productive! Hopefully this means future days will more relaxing for you. Yes, I wish there were more hours in a day, or more days in a week . . . but I suppose that would only mean we'd have more work to do .

Your life has changed and it takes getting used to. Things will work out, but this is a busy time for everyone.

Maybe you need a vacation to get away from all of this.

Once the estate is settled and Christmas is over perhaps things will settle down again.

Almost all of my days feel like that lately. I end up doing way to much late at night! It's hard to relax at this time of year when life is extra busy as well!
